Stormy seas, a shipwreck, and redemption! On a remote and lonely island, the sorcerer Prospero, rightful Duke of Milan, plots to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place and win back the crown he lost to a scheming brother 12 years ago. He conjures up a terrible tempest to sink the ship of his usurping brother Antonio, along with the King of Naples and his royal party. They and their crew are washed up on the shores of Prospero’s island and bewildered by Prospero’s sorcery. With wit, magic and a cast of wonderful characters, Prospero reveals Antonio’s lowly nature and regains his kingly position. Fate smiles on the two young lovers, Miranda and Ferdinand assuring a happy ending for one of Shakespeare’s wittiest plays!
