Meet at the Franklin and Monroe Gate at 10, 10:30, 11, or 11:30 for about an hours walk through the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery to hear the stories of the early pioneers who gave their names to our streets. Who were Colgan, Davis, Farmer,Grace, Boyce and many others and why do we travel streets named after them today. Event is a fundraiser to purchase a tombstone for one of Santa Rosa’s founders, Barney Hoen, whose tombstone never happened or has disappeared. It is believed that Mr Hoen himself is returning for this tour.
Purchase tickets online or by phone at (707) 543-3737. Tickets will also be available at the Franklin Gate before each tour.
