Open House and Gallery Debut at “The Upstairs” community event space above Doobie Nights

Free Public Open House with Music this Saturday, August 8, 5–9 PM — A Preview of Café Döbé, Opening This Fall
Café Döbé and Doobie Nights invite the community to an open house celebrating the completion of The Upstairs, a new 2,000-square-foot event and gallery space above the Doobie Nights dispensary at 3011 Santa Rosa Ave. The free, all-ages event runs Saturday, August 8, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Owner Damon Crain and technical director Graham Constantine have transformed the building with high-tech interactive artistry, including projection-mapped walls on the dispensary floor and freshly updated lighting throughout The Upstairs.
The open house doubles as a gallery debut for local photographer Cheryl Alterman, whose high-resolution rock ’n’ roll portraits — from Mick Jagger to Dave Grohl — line the new space.

The open house is a precursor to Café Döbé itself — a modern coffee shop with ample workspace, opening later this fall on Santa Rosa Avenue.
