Thu, July 4, 2019, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The first Annual 4th of July Elephant Music Festival. This is in cahoots with our good friends at Coyote Sonoma as well. 6 incredible bands will be playing throughout the day.
Starting at 3pm is Keith Sanchez (Albuquerque, NM).
Keith is a career musician having traveled the world as a performing artist. He was the lead singer, song writer, lyricist and guitarist for the popular Stoic Frame, boasting a #1 single on the R&R national charts, with music featured on major network television such as The Shield, Fuse Network and BET.
Next up at 4:30 is the Den Brothers (SF,CA).
Born in a Bay Area garage, the Den Brothers have created their own brand of rock n’ roll that fuses classic rock vibes with alt/rock influence.
Then at 7pm is SuperStar Calvin Arsenia (Kansas City, Missouri).
Recently voted Pitch Kansas City’s Best Musician 2018, and featured on NPR.org, NEWNOWNEXT, and Pride.com, Calvin Arsenia has built a reputation for turning the arts world on its head.
Arsenia’s angelic, classically-trained voice soars over audiences, enchanting even the fussiest of fans, beckoning them to join him as he flirts between genres.
“Jeff Buckley meets Nina Simone with this soul of Sam Cooke, and the sparkle of Bjork.”
But the music is just one part of his prodigious performances, for Calvin believes the art is in crafting the perfect moment. His music is best served live, with sensational performances and high fashion from the visually striking performer who stands at 6’6”.
Next at 8:30pm is the Rock gods Veers (Los Angeles, CA)
VEERS are an electrifying explosion of pure rock and roll laced with symphonic dreamscapes that provoke the feeling of floating through the cosmos. The group formed in 2016 and is fronted by British singer/guitar player Andrew James, bass player Nick Lanata, Spencer Evan Schuck on guitar, keys player Sean Brennan and drummer Jef Pauly.
The bands debut collection of music was released in 2016 and is consistent with the likes of 90s Brit-Rock, leading to VEVO naming them “a band to watch.”
VEERS’ first single “Invader” is a chiseled beast, its elastic bass line vaulting you out of your seat and harmonized guitars buzzing and wailing as if trying to play catch-up with a whole era of alt-rock.” – Buzzbands LA
“Falling in the tradition of alternative British rock, their music brings a consuming energy to the room that will get you amped up far beyond the end of the concert.” – Impose Magazine
Then the nightcap at 11pm is local favorite Crowbot.
Crowbot is a three piece organic eclectic improv group consisting of KC Mosso, Levi Miller and Spike Sikes. Driving bass lines, electronic beats and stellar horns and vocals create a one of a kind experience that will never be duplicated.
Also our neighbor at Coyote Sonoma will provide a FREE all ages environment and local band Burnside from 5-8pm.
Among the western hills of Sonoma County, Burnside ignited from the collision of funky bass line groves, slick beats from a beekeeping yogi, and a motley repertoire of original songs that tell the journey from city streets to country roads, yearnings for a better world and of a goat who thinks it’s a sheep. Their always-danceable modern rock stylings borrow from funk, soul, folk, indie and Americana.
There will be food for sale as well provided by pop up vendors. Artesan pizzas and other delicious selections at Coyote Den.
Tickets are Only $20 for an all day wristband. On sale now at Elephant in the Room. This promises to be the value of the summer, with soon to be legends performing at such an intimate setting. These are fast rising stars gracing our presence.
