Civil War Days . . . in beautiful Duncans Mills

Sun, July 15, 2018, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Step back in time to 1863 and enjoy a fun, family-oriented experience. This annual, two-day living history experience is one of the largest Civil War reenactments west of the Mississippi and the largest in Northern California. The American Civil War is brought to life by hundreds of dedicated reenactors portraying Union and Confederate soldiers, horse-drawn artillery, mounted cavalry, booming cannons, merchants, musicians, and civilians. Between battles, visit the encampments and see Civil War-era equipment. Interact with these “living historians”—learn what they believed in and why they risked their lives for these beliefs. It is an understanding you cannot get from reading a book or watching a DVD. A fun, educational experience that will delight people of all ages. Twice-daily battles: Saturday: 1:00pm and 4:00pm, and Sunday: 11:00am and 2:00pm.

1/4 mile down Freezeout Road, off Moscow Road
