Acclaimed jazz drummer and Grammy nominee Matt Wilson brings his “unabashed joy to the bandstand” as Healdsburg Jazz presents Wilson’s Honey and Salt on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Paul Mahder Gallery. Featuring Wilson with his all-star band including cornetist Ron Miles, multi-reedist Jeff Lederer, bassist Martin Wind and pianist/vocalist Dawn Clement the project pays tribute to the poet of the people, Carl Sandburg, on the 50th anniversary of the poets death.
