Join us from 10:00am – 11:30am for a Women’s Gathering and Rally in Downtown Santa Rosa – Courthouse Square where we will have key speakers, music, community groups tabling and a few children’s activities. Our Rally and Gathering is in solidarity with the Women’s March events taking place around the nation on the anniversary of the events last year. We gather to support women’s rights, gender/race equality, immigration rights, community action and getting out the vote as well as all human rights.
All are welcome and encouraged to come – bring family, friends, neighbors and enjoy. The history of the Sonoma County Courthouse that once stood in Courthouse Square includes peaceful protests, rallies and gatherings – this will carry on that tradition in our newly reunified Courthouse Square!
Key speakers, kids activities, community group tables, and more:
US Congressman: Jared Huffman
Sonoma County Hispanic Chamber President: Jenny Chamberlain
Sonoma County 3rd District Supervisor: Shirlee Zane
Sonoma County 5th District Supervisor: Lynda Hopkins
City of Santa Rosa Vice-Mayor: Chris Rogers
CA State Senator: Mike McGuire
