Bear Story Telling and Swap

Sat, March 10, 2018, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Everybody has a bear story to tell and some are taller than others. We’ve invited a few storytellers from the Do Tell Story Swap group to tell some bear stories, then the rest of the program switches to the audience to share their bear stories. A fun-filled family activity for all ages.

The storytellers are members of the Do Tell Story Swap, a group that welcomes experienced and new storytellers to swap stories once a month in Santa Rosa. They swap old and new tales: myth, fairytale, hero journeys, personal relationships and experiences. They will tell bear tales for about 30 minutes. For more information about the Do Tell Story Swap organization, please see their website at: http://www.dotellstoryswap.org/index.html .

In the second part of the program, we will draw names out of the hat for audience-storytellers (who have volunteered) to tell their bear stories. Each participant will be limited to 5 minutes.

General admission applies. Members and children 12 and under are free.

Event Sponsors receive two tickets and recognition in the Museum’s marketing materials. Sponsorships are fully tax-deductible.
