Saturday July 8 at 4 pm. 3 Acre Holler in the OCA Amphitheater . Enjoy a summer concert in our outdoor amphitheater with this popular folk duo! Singer Cori Wood and singer/multi-instrumentalist Layne Bowen have played in a variety of bands, and are drawn to Appalachian inspired material – unrequited love, moonshine, tragedy and death are frequent themes. In addition to their originals, 3 Acre Holler offer songs by contemporary writers Gillian Welch, Martha Scanlon, The O’Kanes, Casey Chambers and guys named Hank; plus a few happy tunes! Tickets $25 General/$20 for OCA members (reserve ahead) at www.occidentalcenterforthearts.org . Additional $5 at the door. Doors open at 3:30 pm, limited seating available for disabled patrons (please email us to reserve). Bring your own seat cushion or low-backed chair.
