You are invited to an afternoon of performance, participation, and Joyful Noise in support of the Inter-Church Food Pantry in Sebastopol on December 17 at 4pm.
Join dynamic song leaders, composers, musicians and human rights activists BENJAMIN MERTZ (founder and director of Joyful Noise Gospel Singers and an inspiring pianist, singer, Director of Diversity & Inclusion for the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute (BECI), and a Board member of the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity) and MELANIE DEMORE (guest choral director, Threshold Singers composer and anchor, founding member of the Grammy nominated vocal ensemble Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir).
Benjamin and Melanie will each offer solo songs as well as lead the audience in raising their voices for social and racial justice and compassionate community. Members of Joyful Noise Gospel Singers will join Benja on three of his original songs.
This is a joint offering between Joyful Noise Gospel Singers (a 501c3 tax exempt nonprofit) and the Community Church. 100% of the donations (suggested $10 at the door) will go to the Inter-Church Food Pantry, housed on the St Stephen’s Episcopal Church property.
