Come join Apple Tree Morris for our May Day celebration, early Wednesday morning May 1st! We dance the sun up! You get to dance and sing, too!
Morris dancing is English folk dance with bells on, clashing sticks, and swooping hankies!
We start dancing at 5:30am so we suggest arriving a few minutes prior to that around 5:15am. We recommend dressing warmly and bringing a chair or blanket to sit on. We dance behind the Sebastopol Community Center Youth Annex on Morris St., next to Wischemann Hall.
- Apple Tree Morris will be dancing a dozen traditional Morris dances!
- Kalia Kliban will be leading three community dances!
- Cyprian Stevens will be leading three sing-along May Day community songs!
- Robert Davis will play his bagpipes at the appropriate time to help us greet the dawn in its full glory!
