Did you know there is a creek flowing beneath your feet when you’re near Santa Rosa City Hall? Take a twilight tour of the huge underground culvert and fish ladder where Santa Rosa Creek runs under Downtown Santa Rosa. This event is thrilling and fascinating in equal measures and traditionally fills up fast, but this year, we will be hosting the event as an open house to accommodate more people! You can arrive any time between 4 p.m., when the open house begins, and 6 p.m., when we’ll be admitting final entry, to participate. Please be advised that the path down into the culverts is not easy to traverse. We’ll climb over a railing and descend to the creek bed down a steep slope of large rocks and walk across the creek (the water may be several inches deep). Wear your sturdy, closed-toe, waterproof shoes, no sandals. Bring your own flashlight. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.
