On March 25, local band Dirty Cello will be performing a show at the Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol at 8 pm. At this show, the Dirty Cello band will be performing and releasing songs from their new album, Number 13, their approximately 13th album made up of songs that have been requested.
According to band leader and cellist Rebecca Roudman, “This album is all songs people have asked to put on an album that we either hadn’t recorded, or hadn’t recorded in a long time.” The band will play songs from the album, plus their usual high energy covers at a seated show at the Hopmonk.
The Dirty Cello band performs all over the world, but is based in the North Bay. Recent tours include England, Iceland, and Florida, and the band has performed in far flung places, from China to Italy.
