Mahrs Schoppman, a psychotherapist by trade and writer by passion, lives in Occidental, CA amongst the redwood trees with his partner, child, and sixty pound puppy.  Utilizing ancient oral traditions, Mahrs writes most of his poems in his mind and commits them to memory as to never write them down.  These poems carry themes of queer embodiment, collective liberation, and relatedness to self, other, and earth.  He is currently working on his first book, an auto-theory exploration of the traumatic impacts of growing up queer within fundamentalist christianity.
