A new series curated by TLC with locals covering a favorite album in it’s entirety, track by track.
This month features Kerry Conlan, Ross Barbieri, Willow & Hound, Twin Soles, Grace Amulet and Trevor Ward.
Kerry Conlan is a Northern California multi-instrumentalist/producer/singer previously releasing music as part of the duo Parson Jones. Kerry describes the project as nostalgic indie soul, heavily influenced and inspired by the likes of Curtis Mayfield and Motown from the past, and Son Little, Khruangbin and Gnarls Barkley from the present. In 2014, Parson Jones released the single “Make and Model” on French label Underdog Records, which has since passed 4 million plays on Spotify. In 2019, Parson Jones released an album, “Clear As Day”, which was reviewed in Rolling Stone France. In 2020, Kerry collaborated with English musician/singer/lyricist Just Jack on the single “Flat Earth Theme”. Recently revived as a solo project, look out for new songs and a new live act in 2023.
Ross Barbieri
I have been a part of the Bay Area Music scene for over 16 years, playing many different types of music, and this is my solo project. I have more recently developed a love for acoustic songwriting because it seems to be the most bare bones, leaving nothing but air as company. I draw inspiration from the likes of Foy Vance, The Tallest Man on Earth, David Bazan, Gregory Alan Isakov, Leif Vollebeck, and many others. I’m currently working on writing for my first release.
Willow & Hound, the duo of Tyler Johnson and Julia Cramer, currently live and play music in and around Sonoma County, CA. Willow & Hound combines aspects of folk, soul and pop with an acoustic guitar, keys and lush vocal harmony.

Twin Soles is the musical manifestation of the union of Shawna and Cory Hervé. Opening their hearts to reveal soaring highs and painful lows in hopes of inspiring and connecting with people who believe in honest love. They wear many different shoes at different times, but what matters is that they walk together through thick and thin, holding their souls in their hands to guide the soles of their feet.
