Early mornings are prime time to spot wildlife, but what can one find during the day to clue us in about the wildlife in an area? Join Lisa Moulton, co-leader of the Bay Area Tracking Club, on Saturday, November 2, 8:00 am-12:30 pm for this introductory tracking outing to learn how to interpret animal tracks, scat and other visual cues of wildlife.
Tickets are $20 for general audiences, $10 for students, youth (12-17 year olds, accompanied by a parent), Sugarloaf members, Sugarloaf volunteers.
What to know: This event is not recommended for children under 12. Meet outside the Visitor Center. Wear appropriate footwear for rocky/slippery trails, layers, and sun protection. Bring water, and if desired, a snack. We also recommend bringing hiking poles, and a ruler. Space is limited to 12. Parking fees apply.
