In 2007 he formed and fronted the Liquid Science Diet, a tribute to British psychedelic rock featuring the music Cream, Pink Floyd, Beatles and The Who, among others. George Keres
Bass Guitar & Vocals
On February 9th, 1964 the Beatles made their U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. After witnessing his sisters lose their minds, while watching a relatively unknown Rock ‘n’ Roll band, George decided at the age of six he wanted to become a musician. His first gig was at a local bar at the age of 13 (things were different back then) with Violent Sunburst Band. At 16, he played in a band called Down & Dirty – the band opened for John Lee Hooker. The blues continued – with another great Bluesman…Yank Rachell, played in Yank’s backup band at the age of 18. The ’80s rolled around and he played in a band called Radio Ranch…..played all major clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Bill Graham’s nightclubs – the band opened for Modern English. Phoenix was the next band – winners of the KSJO radio station contest – Best Of The Bay Award. Up next, The 22nd Row – Winners of MTV’s Basement Awards. Played in all major clubs in the SF Bay Area. George’s main bass-playing influence has always been John Entwistle of The Who. Besides the birth of his children – meeting and hanging out with John one night, will go down as one of the greatest times of his life. George has had the honor of playing with Ronnie Montrose, as well as musicians who have played with The Steve Miller Band, Huey Lewis and the News, Mariah Carey, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others. He’s looking forward to the next musical journey with The Pinball Wizards.
Matt Naworski
Drums, vocals, percussion, more cowbell
From a young age, Matt has been fixated on hitting things with sticks—from pinatas to cue balls, to his first drum set purchased at age 11 with “paper route money.” Matt’s influences are as diverse (Krupa, Copeland, Tommy Lee, ++) as the groups with whom he has performed and recorded Big Janitor (East Bay Grunge), The Diablo Symphony, SkaBone, DVC Jazz Band and Kingdom of Dirt. Matt is currently keeping the beat steady and enjoying the rhythm of life while living in Sonoma County
