Sonoma County Art Trails, one of the oldest juried annual Open Studio tours in the country, is celebrating its 40th year. This fall, 124 professional local artists from Healdsburg to Petaluma and Sonoma to the Coast will welcome visitors into their studios to see the paintings, prints, drawings, mixed media art, jewelry, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, ceramics, glass, and woodworking that make Sonoma County an art destination.

Two weekends of October – 19 – 20 and 26-27, visitors can plan their own tour using the full-color Collector’s Guide (available in print and digital online). The self-guided tour and the Collector’s Guide are FREE! To locate the art studios and see an image of their work, download the guide at www.SonomaCountyArtTrails.org or pick up a print version at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High Street, Sebastopol, CA 95472, and at stores and galleries throughout the County. Then follow the blue signs posted around the county that direct visitors to each studio. The Art Trails Preview Exhibit features a piece of work by each of the participating artists, taking place at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. The Opening Reception will be on Saturday, September 28, from 2-4pm, and the show continues through October 27th. Additional smaller Preview Exhibits will be at Corrick’s and My Daughter the Framer in Santa Rosa, Gallery One in Petaluma, and Bodega Art Gallery. Collector’s Guides are also available at these locations.
