A young pianist, a world premiere and an orchestral masterpiece… Join us for something old and something new!
♪ In celebration of our 25th anniversary, we’ve commissioned a new piece by local composer Robert Litton featuring Daniel Gianola-Norris on trumpet.
♪ Our SFCM Brian Lloyd Piano Competition winner, twelve-year-old pianist Cynthia Lu, will join the orchestra in a delightful Mozart Piano Concerto.
♪ Finally, the orchestra will perform one of the greatest romantic symphonies in the repertoire, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.
