Join us for a few hours on Saturday night, October 5th with Casey Marks for an evening of star viewing! Casey Marks has been using her Questar telescope for years, being able to see such things as the eye of Jupiter and it’s many moons, Mars, and Venus.
We will meet at the entrance parking lot of Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve: Armstrong Redwoods,where Casey will give a short talk as to what to expect. After the talk we will head up the hill. We want to be at the overlook before it gets dark to set up, and once dark, 30 minutes later we will start viewing. Viewing will last until approximately 8:30/9:00PM.
