The Rotary Club of Sonoma Sunrise is excited to announce its inaugural 49ers Tailgate Party, a fundraiser aimed at supporting enhancements and beautification efforts at Sonoma’s beloved Depot Park. The event will take place on Sunday, October 6, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vintage House, located on 1st Street East, directly across from Depot Park. Guests can enjoy a festive afternoon featuring delicious food, drink, music and a range of activities for all ages. The event will also include large-screen televisions to showcase the 49ers vs. Cardinals game, ensuring that fans don’t miss a moment of the action.
“Depot Park is a cornerstone of our community, and we are thrilled to host this event to ensure it continues to be a vibrant space for everyone to enjoy,” said Brian Whitmer, Fundraising Chairperson of the Rotary Club of Sonoma Sunrise. “We invite everyone to join us for a day of fun, football, and community spirit as we work together to improve this beloved park.”
The Tailgate Party will span from the parking lot on 1st Street East, where guests can park their vehicles, view and vote on best Rotary Tailgate cars which will be displayed, to the indoor room at Vintage House where there will be multiple screens showing the game to the back patio where the Rotary grill will be fired up, adult and kid-friendly beverages will be available and Tailgate food favorites will be enjoyed.
Additional entertainment includes music games, activities, and a raffle featuring prizes generously donated by local restaurants and businesses.
