A Theater for Children Offers “Environmental” Theater with an Impact
Dive under the sea and into a world of enchantment as A Theater For Children proudly presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR! From April 26, 2024 to May 5, 2024. Families are invited to join ATFC at Kid Street Learning Center in Santa Rosa for a spectacular theatrical experience suitable for ages 3+, coinciding with Earth Day celebrations.
Directed by Bridget Palmer and Charlie Bird, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR brings to life the tale of Ariel, an inspirational and courageous young mermaid, whose curiosity propels her into adventures and proves that a growth mindset pays off!
“We’re thrilled to celebrate Earth Day 2024 by highlighting the importance of nature in this classic story. ATFC’s environmental theater production of The Little Mermaid JR is not only a thrilling musical event, but an inspirational reminder to be curious and to value the life in our oceans, rivers, and lagoons.”
To add to the fun and excitement, A Theater For Children will invite young audience members to collaborate on an Eco-Art Installation at the theater and to join our efforts to fundraise and spread awareness about actions Sonoma County citizens can take to protect our waterways.
