Petaluma based and founded by Jason Davies on the heels of the pandemic, The Social Contractors offer an upbeat blend of melodic original rock along with classics from the 60s-90s (The Beatles, The Police, Pink Floyd, Men At Work, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Stevie Wonder, Chris Isaak, Steve Miller, U2, and more).
Jason’s tightly crafted tunes feature improvised solos and pointed lyrics that span edgy political and environmental themes to tales of unrequited love and introspection – all with an ultimately optimistic perspective on the possible.
The Social Contractors lineup includes songwriter Jason Davies (vocals, rhythm/lead guitar), Travis Thayer (keyboard/sax/vocals), Rob Neidel (bass/vocals), and Chris Oatman (drums).
