Ok, here’s something different! Two nights of great music celebrating America’s western swing and Americana music. Both nights: bring yer dancing shoes and prepare to be moved!

Friday is Western Swing Night where the Texas dancehall music of Bob Wills will be celebrated and honored by three of the finest current purveyors of this very American-made music. Sonoma county’s own western swing ambassador, Tommy Thomsen will bring his band of rockin’, swingin’ all stars to the stage. The queen of California Western Swing & Sacramento super star, Mae McCoy, will have you burning up the dance floor with her gang of first rate talent. The Familiar Strangers will show how, and why, four members of this killer band are members of the California Western Swings Hall of Fame!

Saturday night, don’t put those dancing shoes away, Kevin Russell and his So called Friends  (Sean, Nick, Henry, Paul & Loralee) will rock your socks off playing

that good ol’ Americana blues/pop/rock! The Flying Salvia’s, hot off the recent tour for their new CD release will stun you with their brilliant original compositions delivered with that old-time rock n roll edge we all love.

Closing out the evening, and the festival, will be the absolute powerhouse singer, Loralee Christensen, and her

equally stunning powerhouse band! Think: Big Mama Thornton gets with Linda Ronstadt and births a little girl with a voice that’ll fill you with goosebumps and leave you blown away but satisfied.

This is a rare, once in a lifetime, collection of much of the bay area’s most primo, top shelf talent! Believe me, this will be a festival that folks will be talking about for a very long time! Don’t miss it!
