The Integration Ensemble performs original compositions by world musician extraordinaire Will Marsh. Described as “Ravi Shankar jamming with the Buena Vista Social Club,” this live event features sitar, guitar, cello, saxophone, tabla and world percussion. With influences from Frank Zappa and Ali Akbar Khan to Maurice Ravel and John Coltrane, the Integration Ensemble includes some of the Bay Area’s best musicians including Josh Mellinger (percussion), Misha Kahlikulov (cello), Yoon Lee (saxophone), Greg Barnett (guitar) and Mark Gerhard (tabla).
