Women in Music “Connections 7” CD Release Concert #1
The Women in Music “Connections 7” CD Release Concert features female led music in Northern California. The CD’s for sale were co-produced and compiled by celebrated local musical artists, Alison Harris and Doug Jayne, who collected and compiled songs from 17 women musicians. This project was aired on KRCB radio by Doug Jayne, which has brought to the forefront the discussion about supporting Women Musicians in our local communities. Third Coyote Third Coyote is a Bay Area band, led by singer/songwriter, Winter Williams, specializing in country rock, with a squeeze of grunge. Winter’s new album, ‘Fine Line,’ was recently released on November 2022, which can be found on Spotify.
Ali Mann
Ali Weiss Mann is a singer/songwriter based in Sebastopol, CA who has been singing, recording and performing since she was a child. She and her husband Warren Mann created Mini Music, a music program for families with young children and Ali spends all of her days singing and dancing with people of all ages. She has both fronted her own bands and performed solo shows with her original songs since she attended college at Chico State and learned how to “jam” many moons ago. LENKADU is an avant-garde electronic music producer and a performer from the Czech Republic, now based in Forestville, CA. She sounds like Bjork, Fever Ray and Dolores O’Riordan. An integral part of her live show are synced video projection and colorful props such as party balloons, ribbons or vintage telephones. Lenkadu is currently running a release campaign for her fifth album Bubbles of Now with upcoming singles Courage and Handshake Deal, both bilingual songs in English and her native Czech. Her Birthing music video has attracted close to 4k+ views on YouTube. Lenkadu has a residency at Magdelena’s in Petaluma where she hosts and plays ‘In the Limelight’ music & art series focusing on strengthening a community of underrepresented independent artists. Lenkadu also hosts Instagram series ‘This Too Shall Pass’ with fellow music industry professionals and plays online live shows series ‘In the Magic Garden’. In the spring 2023 she is headed to play European dates.
