We celebrate summer and our nation’s founding as we climb the tallest mountain in Sonoma Valley–Bald Mountain–for a spectacular evening vantage point. This strenuous hike covers 6.5 miles with 1500 ft. elevation gain–including some steep sections. Upon arrival at the top, you’ll enjoy a sumptuous mountaintop reception, an unforgettable sunset, and fireworks displays from throughout the Bay Area.
Space is limited for this annual fundraiser, and we expect to sell out. The price per ticket is $50, and proceeds support the Sonoma Ecology Center’s operations of Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Kids 12-17 are $20. Not recommended for children under 12, as the hike is approximately 6.5 miles round trip with approximately 1.5 hours hiking time each way.
