Explore the succession of plants and wildflowers after the October 2017 Nunn’s Fire along Lawndale Trail. Park Aide Sarah Reid will discuss what is growing and blooming now as a result of wildfire. Lots of wildflowers — new and returning — are blooming in new places. Bring water, snack, trekking poles, hat and sunscreen; wear sturdy shoes. Trail is uneven and varied, slightly uphill on the way, downhill on the way back. The hike begins and ends at Lawndale Trailhead Parking Area. No fee. No dogs allowed. There are no restrooms or water at the parking lot.
