Berkshire Choral International (BCI), a not-for-profit educational institution that provides singers with exhilarating professional-level choral experiences, makes a return appearance at Weill Hall at Green Music Center. Katherine FitzGibbon, Director of Choral Activities at Lewis and Clark College, conducts Vaughan Williams’ impassioned Dona Nobis Pacem (Grant Us Peace) and Damien Geter’s moving Cantata for a More Hopeful Tomorrow, inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic and its tragic impact on the African-American community. Composed during troubled times, the works in this program offer a universal vision for peace and renewal. The Santa Rosa Symphony joins BCI for this performance. Tickets, $10/$25 are available at 707-664-4246 or https://tickets.sonoma.edu
