A combination of exploring beauty ranch and hiking to London Lake.
Each household or individual will receive a Discovery worksheet to write their answers along the journey. “Quest’ ions/activities like: How many pig apartments are there at the pig palace? Touch a “refrigerator “tree. Identify male vs female Redwood cones. What trees were imported from Australia? How many varieties of grapes grow in the vineyard? How tall/old is a redwood tree compared to you? What 2 breeds of horses worked the ranch? Find 5 or more Fairy Rings.
Join California Naturalist/Jack London volunteer Laura Wagner as your guide.
2.5 miles, 350 ft. climb, moderate pace. Wear sturdy shoes. Bring Water, a pen or pencil.
Note: Limited to 15 participants. Excessive heat will cancel.
