The Fern Lake loop is one of the most popular hikes at Jack London State Historic Park. This moderate six-mile route with an elevation gain of 600 feet offers a workout through various habitats. Expect to see the last wildflowers of the season, blooming along the way.
Bring plenty of water, snacks, and most importantly wear sturdy shoes. Hiking poles are optional. Dress in layers to be comfortable in any temperature.
This hike will be cancelled in the event of extreme heat.
When: Saturday, August 3, 2024, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (approximately).
Price: $15.00 per person plus the park entry fee of $10 per vehicle (up to nine passengers).
