A new series curated by TLC with locals covering a favorite album in it’s entirety, track by track.
This month features Tim Dixon, Sally Haggard, Modus Opera & Eye, Eye Clash Ragazine, Josh Windmiller, and Steve Ward Moore.

Tim Dixon is a founding member of the Crux and Semi-Evloved Simians.

Sally Haggard aka Delia Martinez Bowen, originated in Sebastopol California. She has a folk and blues style, with lyrics ranging from heartfelt love lossed, Zombies, and humorous breakup songs. Haggard has performed with bands such as Three Legged Sister, Frankie Boots and the County Line, and Tiny Pyramids. She will surely make you want to laugh, cry, dance, or all of the above.

Modus Opera & Eye (a.k.a. Ricardo Zegri) is a multi-instrumentalist who plays “Agnostic Gospel & Soulful Nihilism for the People”. He has been playing live shows in the Bay Area for 25+ years, (present and past projects include 5 Cent Coffee, Crumpled Napkin, High Card Drifters, American Bindi, Plasterkatz, among a half dozen others). This solo project was born out of the global shutdown of 2020. The free time in isolation gave him both the mental motivation and physical hours to make a long held dream into a reality. Since then Modus has produced a trio of concept EPs and is currently busy working on a fourth. MO&E plays almost all original music (with a couple obscure covers) that incorporate blues, folk, gospel, weirdo rock and a circus flavor that gives the music a sort of Tom Waits meets Jacques Brel vibe, but its own thing.

Josh Windmiller is the frontman and head minister of theatrical folk punk outfit The Crux. He stomps, he shouts, he sings, he offers benedictions… Santa Rosa raised an odd one with this guy – come check it out.

Steve Ward Moore
An affable, quirky, audience-engaging electronic artist based in Sonoma County. Steve got his start in music after a life-changing near-death experience, which instilled him with divine purpose to pursue creativity through music and sharing his art with others. His eclectic palette of songs ranging from heavier beats to smooth love jams, all-in performance style, and impassioned mid-to-high range vocals will appeal to fans of sensitive synth artists like Twin Shadow, Porches, Future Islands, and Perfume Genius, with a streak of Sparks-like kookiness and James Murphy-esque wit and honesty. His cites as his current greatest inspirations “plants, the natural world, and other humans he meets”. One part kindly gentleman farmer, one part cosmic preacher, Steve Ward Moore is ready to reach out, lift you up, and groove your soul. Don’t be afraid.
