Only two miles from downtown, the Petaluma wetlands is a serene haven for bird watchers and nature lovers. Join Petaluma Wetland Alliance docents on the fourth Saturday of the month for free guided walks of the Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility. Identify over 50 species of birds while walking around the fresh water ponds and tidal flood plains.
Please bring face mask, binoculars, water, and hat and meet in the parking lot near the main entrance kiosk. Free. Rain cancels.
