At the southern edge of the Sonoma Coast lies a fjord-like ribbon of water along miles of rolling coastal prairie that is one of the most biologically dynamic areas along the entire California coastline. The Estero Americano tidal estuary is where life begins for hundreds of fish and wildlife species; it is also a resting spot for migrating birds of prey and a working landscape for coastal ranchers. Join Sonoma Land Trust for a virtual tour of this unique and little-known corner of Sonoma County.
There is no charge for this event, which is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter-cent sales tax.
