Is your dog a good boy (of course he is!), so reward him with a pre-Halloween fun walk in the park. A gathering of 15 dogs and their humans will walk around the Beauty Ranch and then down to the Wolf House with good sniffs, treats, and water stops along the way. The Walk’n Wag is approximately 3 miles. Costumes are fun but optional.
Must be dog-friendly, people-friendly, on a short leash, and able to resist bolting if a critter crosses the trail.
Limited to the first 15 dog signups
Jack London State Historic Park is a wildlife sanctuary; therefore dogs are only allowed in designated historic areas including the Beauty Ranch area and on the trail to Wolf House but not on any other trails. Dogs must be kept on a leash and are not allowed inside the historic buildings. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
