Heartwood Trio is a Sonoma County acoustic musical group known for fine original songwriting and stellar three-part harmonies. Dave Monterey and Tim Sheehan share a longtime musical brotherhood, having performed together for decades in various Bay Area bands, most recently with The String Rays. Their intuitive guitar interplay offers broad testament to their creative history.
Emily Lois, a well-respected singer-songwriter of local renown, joined in 2018 by way of a chance meeting in KRCB Radio’s green room during an NPR fundraising drive. Since forming the union, Heartwood Trio has performed for enthusiastic audiences at HopMonk Sebastopol, fine local dining establishments and North Bay wineries.
