MURMUR is soaring into a spring tour in parks across Northern California with the support of the California Arts in the Parks grant. This free outdoor performance invites you to witness dance in dialogue with the landscapeâno stage, no barriers, just the murmuration of dance in the open air.
đŁJoin us for the perfomance starting at 2pm PTđŠ
If you love birds, youâll love MURMUR. If youâve ever stopped dead in your tracks to catch the flicker of wings and the way a birdâs call can anchor you to the present moment, this show is for you.
đŠArrive at 1pm PT for a free bird language workshop facilitated by Weaving EarthđŠ
Join us for a free Bird Language Practice with partner organization Weaving Earth from 1:00 – 1:45pm.
This workshop invites you to slow down, settle your nervous system, and build a reciprocal relationship with birds by tuning into their vocalizations, movements, and behaviors. By cultivating deep listening and presence, we can better understand the real-time story of the ecosystem that birds are telling, while also reflecting on how our own actions impact their well-being. Through this co-liberatory and somatic approach, participants will deepen their “wild fluency” and learn how bird language can foster empathy, connection, and collective awareness in both natural and human communities.
This event is for the đ April 27th performance at Ragle Ranch Regional Park in Sebastopol.
