Human Rights Day Watch Party at Life On Earth Art
We invite you to a special in-person event honoring Human Rights Day and the 75th Anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Watch Party + Heartmaking for Incarcerated Persons.
We are delighted to be a partner of the Article3.org Human Rights Day Program, “Still We Rise: Our Voice, Our Rights, Our Future.”
This live-streamed program will celebrate the legacy of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and shine a spotlight on the torchbearers of tomorrow—the activists and advocates, leaders and changemakers that inspire us all.
Heartmaking for Action
Be part of building LOEA’s newest installation centered on criminal justice reform. As we gather to listen to inspiring changemakers—we will construct the paper mâché winged hearts that will be painted by incarcerated persons at Soledad Prison in early 2024.
LOEA is collaborating with The People’s Commission for Integrity in Criminal Justice to produce a large installation at the Marin Civic County Center, Aug-Oct 2024 which will feature the art and stories of incarcerated men.
Bagels and coffee, human rights and artmaking.
Livestream begins at 10 a.m.
Join us for all or part of the event!
