Join us in Weill Hall where the Sonoma State Jazz Orchestra will perform several movements from Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s landmark 1957 Such Sweet Thunder Suite, based on the works of Shakespeare. The 23-piece ensemble will also perform works by Quincy Jones, Ernie Wilkins, and others including director Doug Leibinger. SSU Jazz Ensemble “Dynamicism” opens the show.
