John and Chris -The Belands (Flying Burrito Bros. & Linda Ronstadt)

10 years ago Chris Beland discovered his father was none other than the former leader of the legendary country rock band, The Flying Burrito Bros, John Beland.

Not only that but, amazingly, the two shared the same love and passion for music. Both were recording artists, both were songwriters and each was a performer with an ever-growing audience.

Chris Beland’s music can now be heard worldwide on Santa Barbara Records. His new cd and vinyl release “What I Believe ” has garnered rave reviews and extensive national  airplay.

John Beland’s extensive history is well documented.  He has played guitar for such iconic artists as Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Kris Kristofferson, Ricky Nelson, Arlo Guthrie to name a few. His songs have been recorded by top artists worldwide earning him awards from Billboard, Record World and Cashbox Magazine as well as from ASCAP and BMI. He is also the author of two best selling books on Amazon.

Both Chris and John are amazing musicians who’s bond is evident when they appear together on stage.  Great songs and great devotion to not only their music but to each other.

As John put it, “The apple never falls far from the tree.” In the case of the Beland’s that’s an understatement!
