Le Hot Club Swing is a Gyspy Jazz, Manouche/Swing band in the style of the Hot Club of France from the 1930’s and 1940’s which featured Django Reinhardt on the guitar and Stepahne Grappelli on the violin. The band’s repertoire combines well-known standards as well as more obscure but compelling songs emphasizing skilled instrumental playing.
Band leader Rick Fulkerson on guitar, Rhonda Berney on mandolin, Jan Kahdeman on guitar, and Tami Pallingston on upright bass each have been a part of the Sonoma County live music scene for many years, playing in groups such as the Blue Moon Dance band, Haute Flash Quartet, and Swing Fling.
