Universally renowned and acclaimed as the “Best Mariachi in the World,” Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán is a Mexican folk ensemble of mariachi music founded in 1897 by Gaspar Vargas. The group has since starred in more than 200 movies and recorded dozens of albums. Their musical style includes elements of various Spanish dance such as pasodobles, valses, bailables, polkas, and danzones. They also have collaborated with various artist, including Juan Gabriel and Linda Ronstadt.
