More about the bands:

Sandy Lindop

Equally at home on piano, guitar and ukulele, Sandy Lindop is a San Francisco native who has made music her life. Whether she’s harmonizing with her band, The Muted Jewel Tones, rockin’ out with the Dirty Cello band or swinging her way through jazz standards as a solo project, Sandy brings a fresh and effervescent sound to many projects.

Nate Lopez – 8-string guitarist

Playing an eight-string guitar/bass hybrid, Nate Lopez has been making a name for himself for well over a decade. Lopez delivers a sound that goes far beyond standard solo impressions, with a style that is centered around a deep understanding of jazz and groove-oriented pop. His powerful solo playing captivates audiences at events and concerts throughout the world. Recently voted “Best Jazz musician or group of the North Bay” by the North Bay Bohemian in 2019, Lopez has previously won “Best Acoustic Musician of the North Bay” in 2017 and first place in the Arkansas Contemporary Fingerstyle Competition in 2015.
“You will note this 8-string guitarist uses every aspect of the guitar to play bass, rhythm and lead, making him a one man band.” – Positively Petaluma

Claudia Russell and Bruce Kaplan

Claudia Russell is an outstanding singer and songwriter who has shared stages with the likes of = Kris Kristoffersen, Willie Nelson, Darryl Purpose, Peter Rowan among many others. Bruce Kaplan is known for deftly accompanying on mandolin and electric guitar, providing melodic counter point and atmosphere that aspires to elevate each song just a little higher. The word tasteful is oft heard, while flashy is not. On stage he is noted for the witty off-the-cuff remark.

Diana Gameros

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and composer Diana Gameros was born into a musical family surrounded by traditional Mexican songs of love and revolution. The first of her family to receive formal music lessons, Ms. Gameros left Mexico as a teenager to study piano and recording technology in Michigan. During those formative years, she soaked up the sounds of classical music, underground rock, the avant-garde, world music, and jazz. Ms.Gameros has since shared the stage with the Oakland Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, Bebel Gilberto, and Natalia Lafourcade, among others. Gameros’ songs have been featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered, NPR’s Alt.Latino podcast and the Public Radio International’s The World and PBS’s NewsHour.

Dirty Cello

From China to Italy, and all over the U.S., Dirty Cello brings the world a high energy and unique spin on blues and bluegrass. Led by vivacious cross-over cellist, Rebecca Roudman, Dirty Cello is cello like you’ve never heard before. From down home blues with a wailing cello to virtuosic stompin’ bluegrass, Dirty Cello is a band that gets your heart thumping and your toes tapping!
“When lead guitar is replaced by the sound of hot licks on a cello, blues, rock and bluegrass rise to a new dimension. Dirty Cello makes its style of string music to inspire audiences to swing, sway and dance.” Ashland Daily Tidings
