Miranda Mallard
Where legato, melodic, heartfelt singing and raw, ethereal songwriting meet. Miranda has sought to find her own unique voice and style from the tradition of song weavers such as Joni Mitchell, Vashti Bunyan, Sufjan Stevens, Regina Spektor, Feist, and Anais Mitchell. Like the bards of old, she braids the stories and musings of her own life as well as the inspiration in the world around her creating songs that reflect on motherhood, broken hearts, beauty and injustice. Miranda’s recordings are dreamy, lush, and filled with textural harmonies harkening back to her classical training, choral background, female trio Rock Paper Scissors, and duo Dagmar. Originally from the spacious cornfields of Iowa, Miranda currently resides in the California Bay Area.
Winona Wagner
Winona is a musician, songwriter, and performer based in northern California. Her mythic songs and haunting vocals are filled with melancholy longing and timeless beauty. Rooted in 60’s and 70’s folk, and inspired by women in indie music today, Winona’s sound is at once nostalgic and unique. Her influences include Feist, Kate Wolf, Jewel, Karen Dalton, and of course, Joni. In addition to her own music, she can be seen performing as one third of the folk trio Wyld Iris, singing sweet harmonies in the Laura T Lewis Band, or collaborating with other musical friends.
Megan Diana
Megan Diana is pioneering a new genre: DREAM COUNTRY DISCO- Take your favorite vintage keyboard (hello Wurlitzer) put it thru some echo/delay; add lush layers of French Horn & vocals, anchor them with throwback drum grooves, & top it all off Pedal Steel – New Album – CABIN FEVER – coming in 2023. Megan is a songmaker, and creator of Piano Push Play, based in Portland, OR.
