Country/blues Jeremy Swayne, or better known as “Jubal Jake” when he’s delivering a sad and lonesome baritone howl, began writing songs at an early age. His sound ranges from melancholy crooning over contemplative ballads to more of a giddy-up outlaw country vibe. Vocally compared to Johnny Cash and Gordon Lightfoot while influenced by the songwriting of John Prine and Hank Williams.
