Pioneers of the Green Rush

Our panelists will revisit the history of cannabis and its burgeoning industry, pay homage to the pioneers and people who made it all happen, and spotlight how the cannabis industry is poised to make a meaningful and positive impact on the world by mainstreaming not just a plant, but a culture. Moderated by Brian Applegarth.

Brian Applegarth is an innovative industry leader at the intersection of hospitality and cannabis. Regarded as a cannabis historian, Brian advocates for the preservation and inclusion of cannabis history and culture as key tourism pillars. He is an award-winning documentary film-maker, creator of The Cannabis Heritage Trail, and executive director of the California Cannabis Tourism Association.

Doors open at 6:30pm, the TALK begins at 7:00pm.

Members are free; Non-Member tickets are $10 prepaid or $15 at the door. Students with ID are $5. Preregistration ends at 5pm on the day of the program.
