The Laugh Cellar & Sonoma County PRIDE present: Comedian Jason Stuart
When you think one of the most prolific character actors, who’s also an outrageous openly gay stand-up comedian, one name comes to mind…. Jason Stuart. Stuart is the co-star, co-writer and co-producer of the hit Amazon comedy series Smothered along with Mitch Hara. His autobiography Shut Up, I’m Talking! from CCB Publishing is the funny, poignant story of a gay Jewish boy whose life changed after seeing Funny Girl at a second-run movie theatre in Hollywood. It’s about surviving a crazy family who survived the Holocaust and clearing up the wreckage of one’s past while learning how to become a man. As is his new stand up comedy album I’m The Daddy And I Have Candy. Stuart is currently the National Co-Chair of the SAG AFTRA LGBT Committee. He also chaired the comedy shows for Lifeworks Mentoring Program for six years and he continues to mentor both straight and LGBTQ artists.
The outdoor show is a benefit for Sonoma County PRIDE and takes place on the beautiful Crush Pad at Deerfield Ranch Winery with magnificent views of the Mayacamas Mountains.
Doors open at 6:00pm. Local guests please bring your comfy outdoor chair. Seating will be provided for guests traveling from outside of the immediate Bay Area. Deerfield’s entire wine portfolio is offered for purchase by the bottle, with select wine for sale by the glass. Non-alcoholic beverages available. Picnics welcome. PLEASE NO OUTSIDE DRINK. General admission tickets advance online. Guests must be age 21 and up to attend. Complimentary parking onsite.
