Honoring Women’s Contributions to Culinary Excellence
The Press Democrat is thrilled to announce the upcoming Women in Conversation Fall event on September 25, 2024, at the Green Music Center in Rohnert Park, featuring a conversation with Food Network star Chef Stephanie Izard and a panel discussion with Chef Izard and moderator Lori Rackl of the Chicago Tribune.
Industry trailblazer Stephanie Izard is a James Beard Award winner, acclaimed restauranteur, author, and the first female winner of the beloved Bravo culinary competition television series Top Chef.
In addition to the main event, Women in Conversation Fall 2024 will feature The Experience from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, a vibrant outdoor expo on the lawn of the Green Music Center where attendees can explore and shop locally owned, female-centric businesses, support local non-profits, enjoy great food for purchase from assorted food venders and the fabulous featured food truck The Black Piglet, and connect with event sponsors Summit State Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Olivers Market and North Bay Home Care. Furthermore, The Experience will offer smaller breakout sessions with female prominent figures of Sonoma County — including TikTok star Darlene Schrijver of The Salad Lab!
Join us for an inspiring celebration of women’s achievements in the culinary world and an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for food, culture and community!
