Join Desi Harp, Mishewal-Wappo tribe member, and CA Certified Naturalists for this meandering exploration suitable for all levels and range of mobility focused on Native history at Sugarloaf. This adventure will accommodate people using walkers or wheelchairs, young children, and parents with babies in strollers, as well as those who just enjoy slow walks in nature that stimulate the five senses.
Meet at the White Barn. Tickets are $5-10 sliding scale for general audiences and free for children under 12. There will be frequent stops and opportunities for conversation, photography, nature journaling, wildlife viewing, resting, etc., so bring your nature journal, camera, or binoculars, if you have them. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat, sun protection, bring water and if desired, a snack.
