The inaugural SoCo Savoy (aka Sonoma County Savoy Social Club) began on Thursday, March 21, 2024!!
Jasmine Worrell Dance is thrilled to announce a brand new program, here in Petaluma for the entire swing dance community. Spearheaded by her dedicated students, a team of die-hard lindy and swing dancers (Bonnie, Cristina, Dan, Frances, Jasmine, Joy L., Joy R., Laurina, Lisa, Liz, Mike S., Robin, and Suzanne) we have launched a regular social after beginning swing dance lessons on Thursdays called, SoCo Savoy Social Club. (8 pm to 9 pm)
Beginning May 2024, we will have social dancing every 1st and 3rd Thursday, in addition to Jasmine’s regular live music nights — every single month. This is going to be a hoppin’ and a sizzlin’!!!
Please come and practice and create community! Absolutely everyone is welcome – all ages, dancers at every level, those who are curious and interested in learning swing, students and non-students of Jasmine, and those who just want to watch dancers and feel the joyful vibe that dancing provides!!!
We want to extend our HUGE gratitude and appreciation to the SoCo Savoy Team of volunteers, and to all dancers for creating a warm, inviting, and embracing dance community. Free to students who took Jasmine’s class that night. $5 to students of Jasmines that month and $10 for general public.
